Last Thursday 11th March local MP Mark Hunter was invited along to 'Simply Books' in Bramhall to help Amy Jo Brownson and her Mum Gill launch their new book of jokes, "Laugh your socks off" which is set to raise thousands for Sport Relief.

The book, which was the idea of North Cheshire Jewish Primary School pupil Amy Jo, is a selection of comic entries from celebrities and politicians across the country - including Mark's own personal entry and one from Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg amongst many others.

Commenting after the visit, Mark said:

"I was delighted to help launch this brilliant new book. Sport Relief is a fantastic cause which raises funds for many local community organisations.

"The joke book was a great idea and I am extremely impressed that Amy Jo, at age 10, has seen this wonderful project right through to fruition - with just a little help from Mum and Dad!"

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
