Christmas message from Mark Hunter MP

December 19, 2008 5:11 PM
Mark

Mark wishes you all a very Merry Christmas!

With the Christmas decorations beginning to light up homes across the constituency I thought I on behalf of the whole Liberal Democrat team, would take this chance to wish all local residents a very merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

My thoughts go out to all those who can't be with their loved ones this year, perhaps because of illness or distance. I would like to send my very best wishes to all those who have family or friends in our armed forces, whether in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere in the world. My thoughts also go out to all those who are less fortunate and who are struggling to make their Christmas happy and festive. Whatever you have planned for the holidays, I hope that all of you enjoy spending time with family and friends and that your festive celebrations are happy and relaxing.

I know that this year has been busy and eventful locally, nationally and across the world. I'm sure that the coming year will bring new challenges for all of us and I wish everyone the best of luck with whatever new plans they have - and for keeping their New Year's resolutions!

Finally I would like to thank you for all giving me the privilege and responsibility of representing all the families and communities in Cheadle, Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme, Gatley, Heald Green, Woodford, Stepping Hill and parts of Hazel Grove in Parliament. I enjoy every second of my exciting and extremely satisfying job and I look forward to continuing my work in the New Year. As always please don't hesitate to get in touch if I can help you with any problems, address any issues or answer any questions, I'm always happy to help.

Again, I wish you and all your family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

With very best wishes, Mark Hunter MP.

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
