Mark celebrating with staff

Cheadle MP Mark Hunter visited St James Catholic High School in Cheadle Hulme last week (7th December) to celebrate the school's award-winning cashless school dinner system and congratulate them on raising hundreds of pounds for charity.

The dinner system uses swipe cards to boost efficiency in the canteen and has picked up two local awards and has been nominated in the top three systems of its kind in the country since its introduction.

Whilst he was there, Mark helped the school present a cheque for £450 which was raised in aid of Asda's 'Tickled Pink' cancer appeal.

Said Mark, "It was great to have a tour of the school and meet the staff who do an excellent job day-in and day-out. The swipe card system at the canteen seems to be a huge success and it was a pleasure to help the school present a cheque to Asda's cancer appeal at the same time."

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
