Cheadle MP Mark Hunter paid a visit to The Mill in Bramhall this week to support the work the centre carries out with young people.

Located on Bramhall Lane South, The Mill is an alcohol-free bar and centre for the young people of Bramhall and surrounding neighbourhoods - it was established during the run up to the millennium. Its sponsor is: Churches Together in Bramhall and Woodford. The Mill also works closely with Stockport Council's Youth Service to provide facilities and services to local young people.

Said Mark, "It was great to visit the Mill and see first hand the excellent work that goes on there and speak to local young people about their views."

"The Mill organises a wide variety of events for local people including outreach programmes, drop-in centre and cafeé. Both the organisers of the centre and the young people themselves deserve our praise for their efforts. For any young people living nearby, I would say the Mill was well worth a visit"

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
