Mark, Helen and Len on Bramhall street surgery

Mark Hunter and Bramhall campaigners Helen Foster-Grime and Len Grice meeting residents at a street surgery

Mark Hunter's campaign to meet local people in all parts of Cheadle constituency is continuing this winter.

Cheadle's MP is aiming to visit every part of the constituency over the coming weeks and months to meet residents in their own streets to talk about local issues or just for a chat. Mark and his team have already visited parts of Cheadle, Gatley, Bramhall, Hazel Grove and Heald Green and will be continuing the campaign throughout the Winter months. See below for the next three street surgeries.

Mark said, "We've had a really good response from local people to the surgeries we've held so far and a lot of residents have come out and met us to tell me and my team about the issues that matter to them. It's especially useful to visit people on their own doorsteps because people can point out local issues to me first hand."

The next few weeks see Mark and the Lib Dem team visiting:

Saturday 4th February - North Cheadle Hulme area. Mark and local councillors (June Somekh, Paul Porgess and John Pantall) will be on Cheadle Road between 10am and 10:45 then on Councillor Lane between 11am and 11:45.

Saturday 11th February - Stepping Hill area. Mark and local councillors (Mark Weldon, Ben Alexander and Maggie Clay) will be on Dorchester Road between 10am and 10:45 and then on Arundel Road between 11am and 11:45.

Subsequent street surgeries will be held in Bramhall, Heald Green and South Cheadle Hulme - more details to follow on this website.

Residents are also more than welcome to arrange an appointment with Mark at his Cheadle Hulme office by calling 486 1359.

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
