Local MP Mark Hunter and Council Leader Brian Millard have joined forces to increase the opening hours of Cheadle Heath police station.

Mark said, "At the moment, the counter at Cheadle Heath closes at 5pm and a number of residents have contacted me to see if the police can extend those hours. A lot of people from the Cheadle Hulme and wider area use the Cheadle Heath facility as a way of accessing police services but they aren't always successful if they call in outside office hours. I am pressing for the police to make it even easier to get hold of them."

"Local police officers have been very helpful so far in listening to our concerns and i hope they can take our views on board. After all, crime and anti-social behaviour aren't 'nine-to-five' issues for most residents."

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
