Hazel Grove Pools and Target Fitness Centre are going up in the world with plans to expand the first floor gym suite above the pools using over a million pounds of new investment from Stockport Council says Councillor Mark Hunter, Leader of the local Council and Liberal Democrat candidate for the forthcoming Cheadle by-election.

Mark visited the leisure center today to see for himself where the new development will take place. He was shown round the existing pools and the Target Fitness Centre by Managers from the Stockport Sports Trust whilst discussing the exciting proposals for the future.

Mark Hunter added "We are bursting at the seams with more and more local residents regularly visiting the Hazel Grove Pools and using the Target Fitness Centre. It is now so busy that we need to make sure that we have a bigger and better fitness suite whilst bringing the whole building up to date. I am delighted that as a local Council we have been able to find the resources to put in over a million pounds for building these new facilities and to expand the Hazel Grove Pools and Target Fitness Centre."

If you are a resident of the Cheadle constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
